The first 18 holes are complete at this year’s RBC Canadian Open, and there’s a two-way tie atop the leaderboard.
Thorbjorn Olesen and Cristobal Del Solar each shot impressive 61s on Thursday to tie for the lead at nine under. Cameron Champ is one shot back at eight under.
Taylor Pendrith was the low Canadian pro in the opening round, going five under to get within four shots of the lead. Fellow Canadian Nick Taylor, who won the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, shot a 66 to reach four under.
