Scheffler struggled over the front nine in the final round of the 107th PGA Championship, losing an early five-shot lead. Jon Rahm caught Scheffler, but couldn’t hang with him on the back nine.
As Rahm melted down the stretch, Scheffler birdied Nos. 10, 14 and 15 to win his third major title by five.
Scheffler, the overwhelming world No. 1, is now halfway home to the career Grand Slam, adding the Wanamaker Trophy to his two green jackets.
