2026 U.S. Open: How to watch
Heading into the 126th U.S. Open, there are too many major storylines to count. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is trying to complete the career Grand Slam with his first U.S. Open title. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy is vying to capture his second major win of the year.
Past U.S. Open champions like Matt Fitzpatrick and Brooks Koepka, who won the last Shinnecock U.S. Open in 2018, are hoping their resurgent games lead to more major glory this week.
And the iconic host course and its treacherous greens are already receiving criticism.
In other words, golf fans are in for a treat when they tune in this week.
Fans without tickets to watch the U.S. Open in person at Shinnecock Hills will be able to watch this year’s tournament from home. USA, NBC and NBCSN will handle the TV broadcasts, and you can stream featured group coverage on Peacock and USOpen.com, as well as TV simulcasts on Peacock.

NBC, USA and NBCSN will air the 2026 U.S. Open on TV. USA will carry the first round on Thursday, as well as early coverage on the weekend. NBCSN will air late Thursday coverage and early Friday coverage. NBC will carry the second, third and final rounds on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
