With his head in his hands and the winner’s trophy in the foreground, a picture of darts star Luke Littler makes the front of Thursday’s Times. The 16-year-old came up just short in a nail-biting PDC World Darts Championship final against Luke Humphries. His image dominates many of the other the front pages too. The Times’ lead story focuses on a statement issued by 12 countries, including the UK and United States, warning Houthi rebels in Yemen against attacks on shipping in the Red Sea. The group has carried out more than 20 attacks on commercial routes since November. These have the potential to cause serious disruption to global supply chains.
