Five Republican candidates will face off Wednesday in the third GOP presidential debate in Miami, a day after their party suffered notable election losses in states including Kentucky, Virginia and Ohio.

Front-runner former President Trump is skipping the debate — again — and is instead holding a rally about 15 miles down the road.

Eyes will be on rivals Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis as they vie to solidify their position as the main Trump alternative. They will be joined by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.).

The debate kicks off at 8 p.m. ET, with Lester Holt, Kristen Welker and Hugh Hewitt moderating. Here is how you can watch.

And follow along here throughout the night for live updates.
