The House Transportation subcommittee is slated to hold a hearing Tuesday morning regarding the FBI headquarters location, “Ensuring Transparency in the Federal Government: An Examination of GSA’s Site Selection for the FBI Headquarters.”
In early December, a coalition of Virginia lawmakers called on the Biden administration to pause on the relocation of the FBI headquarters to Maryland, citing a potential conflict of interest as the General Services Administration weighed the selection of a new site, as The Hill reported.
According to the committee, Elliot Doomes, commissioner of Public Buildings Service, General Services Administration, and Nicholas Dimos, assistant director, Finance and Facilities Division, FBI, are expected to testify.
The hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. EST.
