Kabaddi: Sachin Tanwar got the highest bid so far in the PKL S11 auctions as Tamil Thalaivas got him for Rs 2.15cr. Iran’s Mohammedreza Shadloui Chiyaneh was the other player to go for more than Rs 2cr, as he was bought by the Haryana Steelers
Paralympic Games: India’s top athletes will be back in action in two weeks from now when the Paralympics get underway in Paris on August 28. India are sending their largest-ever contingent of 84 athletes and the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) is hopeful of the contingent going past the 19 medals India had won at the Tokyo Paralympics.
