New York City mayor celebrates Ramadan with inmates at Riker's Island

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani visited Riker’s Island Monday to observe Iftar, or the breaking of the fast, with inmates. It’s part of his efforts to reframe Muslim life in the city.
