Vice Golf

Vice Golf has been a key player in the direct-to-consumer golf ball space for the last several years, but now the company is ready to show off its golf clubs.

Adding to an already growing line of forged irons, wedges and putters, Vice is announcing its new starter set, the Vice Boost, which features nine clubs and a golf bag.

“Our mission is to make the game more accessible without sacrificing quality or style,” said Vice Chief Product Officer Marco Burger in a release. “The Vice Boost Starter Set is the culmination of extensive research and feedback from everyday golfers, offering top-tier performance at an entry-level price point. We’ve removed the intimidation factor so that new players can trust their equipment and focus on having fun.”

Thanks to the DTC model, Vice is already a bargain with their golf balls and existing clubs. A box of premium, urethane-covered golf balls going for $39.99/dozen, or just $32.99/dozen if you order six dozen balls or more. The Vice Boost starter set is priced ultra competitively at $449.99 for the men’s set, or $469.99 for the women’s set.

For that price, you get a nine-club set that includes a driver, hybrid (4 for men, 5 for women), 6-SW iron set and a blade putter, as well as a seven-way top stand bag.

Like many of its golf products, the Vice Boost set was built by leveraging data from Vice’s partnership with HIO Labs, Europe’s largest fitting institution. Through that partnership, Vice is able to use millions of swing data points to help ensure easier launch, straighter shots and better forgiveness.

While the set is priced under $500, Vice still went all out on the premium materials. The driver is made from Forged titanium, while the irons are cast from durable steel. The putter also has a sand-blasted nickel-chrome finish and a CNC-milled face.

The set will be available to order on ViceGolf.com and select retail partners. on March 24th
