With 36 holes left to play at this week’s FM Championship, American star Allisen Corpuz is tied for the lead. The 28-year-old shot a bogey-free five-under 67 on Friday to move to nine under for the tournament.
The fine round, her second in a row, put Corpuz in a three-way tie on top of the leaderboard with Hyo Joo Kim and Miyu Yamashita.
Corpuz won the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach, her only LPGA win so far in her career. Later this year she’ll play on the American Solheim Cup team.
World No. 1 Nelly Korda shot a 72 on Friday to make the cut on the number at even par.
Corpuz will tee off for Round 3 in the final pairing at 2:55 p.m. ET on Saturday.
