Wesley Bryan has been suspended by the PGA Tour for competing in a LIV Golf influencer event, Ryan French of Monday Q Info reported.

The PGA Tour does not comment on suspensions, but Bryan, a 35-year-old pro who also runs a popular YouTube channel with his brother, confirmed the suspension to French. Bryan said he was not told the length of the suspension but plans to follow the appeal process.

“For the last eight or nine years, the opportunities have been amazing [on the PGA Tour,” Bryan told French. “I’m extremely grateful to the Tour for that. I don’t want this to be the end of my professional golf career.”

Bryan played in “The Duels: Miami” at LIV Golf’s Miami stop a week before the Masters. It aired on YouTube content creator Grant Horvat’s channel and already has more than 2 million views. It featured six LIV players teaming up with six YouTube content creators for a nine-hole scramble. The match featured a $250,000 purse and was won by Sergio Garcia and George Bryan, Wesley’s brother.

Wesley Bryan, who has conditional status on the PGA Tour, has played in three PGA Tour events this season and ranks 169th in the FedEx Cup standings. At his last start, the Puerto Rico Open in early March, he missed the cut.

Last month, Wesley and George competed in the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass during Players Championship week. It was an event a part of the Tour’s newly launched Creator Council, which consists of 10 popular content creators or brands the Tour partnered with to increase fan engagement; Bryan Bros Golf was among them.

The PGA Tour and Saudi Public Investment Fund are still without a deal to reunite the professional game, and the Tour has warned its members they would be suspended for competing in LIV events.

Wesley Bryan has one once in 134 career PGA Tour starts and has more than $5 million in career earnings. He’s also won three times in 22 Korn Ferry Tour starts.
