I was just nervous because I’ve never been in a natural disaster before. We saw about five cars flowing down the river and a lot of debris flowing down the river from houses and stuff. So, I was just wondering if everyone was OK. There was water going everywhere, where normally you couldn’t even see the river. It was taking over the whole east side, the girls’ side. So, the first thing I saw was the girls’ cabins. Water was reaching halfway and it shattered the windows. A lot of people were talking about Camp Mystic, which was a little nerve-wracking. When I heard that we had to go on helicopters to leave, I got really nervous because it didn’t occur to me that it was that bad. I knew that we were going to be flown out, but he didn’t say helicopters or anything. And a kid in my cabin knows a lot about that stuff. And he goes, that’s a Black Hawk.
